Theatre

I’m an internationally produced and published playwright, with work staged across the United States, Canada, and Europe. My plays have been selected for several prestigious fringe festivals and my full-lenght play, Hair of the Dog, was an official selections of the Playwrights Center of San Francisco. The production rights to several of my comedies are currently being managed by Lazy Bee Scripts.

I design my work with production realities in mind—small sets, adaptable casts, and flexibility for community theatres, colleges and universities, and black box venues. I understand the practical challenges many companies face and create work that is logistically feasible without sacrificing artistic depth.

In addition to writing, I’ve been producing and directing for more than twenty years. I collaborate with local and international artists to bring accessible, high-impact theatre to audiences in a variety of spaces. I also enjoy fostering emerging playwrights by hosting staged readings and building platforms for new work to be heard and developed. My productions invite creative interpretation while offering strong narrative frameworks that support a range of staging choices, all with the financial realities of small and community theatre in mind.
